News on offshore wind mill in Japan

Kitakyushu municipality located west of Japan, in the north of Kyushu island (see map) has defined some auctions sites for offshore wind mill installation within the port structures.
This is the first sale to the auction site for the installation of  wind farms for a period of up to 20 years, renewable.

It is in Kitakyushu City that was held on May 2 2016 a G7 meeting of ministers in charged of energy policy.
Today is the largest port in Kyushu  which gives it a leading role in the economic strategy of the island.
